OUR CAPITATION PLAN FOR YOUNG PATIENTS

Denplan Children is a really easy way to spread the cost of all of your child’s routine treatment into affordable monthly payments, reducing the chance of receiving unexpected dental bills.

This plan will cover your child’s regular check-ups with your dental team.

As with all our plans, Denplan Children can also have worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover (Denplan Dental Emergency and Injury Cover) included for an extra 60 p per month.

Fees depend on age:

0 – 4 years	£5.23 per month
5 – 10 years	£9.02 per month
10 – 14 years	£14.48 per month
15 – 18 years	£18.86 per month

Please note that these plans do not offer any discounts off treatment prices as they are focused on prevention.

Insurance: For 60p extra per month

Your Denplan Supplementary insurance includes: worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover.

I can’t recommend Nina highly enough. I came in with a long‑standing dental phobia, and she’s been nothing short of incredible in helping me overcome it. She’s genuinely personable, patient, and has a way of making you feel completely at ease from the moment you sit down. Every appointment has been calm, reassuring, and handled with real care. If you’re nervous about the dentist, Nina is exactly the person you want looking after you.

St Mawes Dental provides an exemplary service.Dr Nina has outstanding clinical skills and is highly experienced.The approach of the whole team personifies professionalism and the collective approach is very conducive to developing a productive rapport with clients.I have been treated with the utmost respect and a lovely sprinkling of humour, making me feel relaxed and safe in their hands.Information is extended in a comprehensive manner and I feel very involved in my care and treatment.I can be a little non complaint with essential monitoring at times but I am always welcomed back with a smile.Prior to an essential Cancer surgery in 2019. I developed a large dental abscess.Had this issue not have been dealt with promptly and with great skill, by Dr Nina, my operation would have been delayed, impacting my prognosis.I can think of no higher accolade.Shirley Curtis

I came to St Mawes Dental with a number of quite serious issues arising from being a lifetime dentist-dodger. My aversion is a result of treatment in childhood by either a negligent or sadistic practitioner and my fear of dentists is off the chart. I am an 'extreme dental phobic'. Or at least I was until last Tuesday, which was when Nina and her dental nurse Lauren took me in hand and administered my first filling in 50 years. I'm not saying it was easy -either for me or them, it certainly wasn't- but they did it. They gave a me a pain-free, trauma-free, laughter-filled experience (no, there was no gas) which had me exiting the dentist more or less doing a jig.What a team, a double-act in every sense!The professionalism of the dentistry in this practice is a given, it shines with its own light. What is truly outstanding is the care, warmth, humour and patience of the people working there. Within an hour of getting home I had emailed to make my next dental appointment, something I have not done (barring emergency extractions) in an entire lifetime.

Visited Nina and her team a few years as an emergency appointment through the emergency dentist system to have a tooth extracted, was really hapoy with how i was treated. Have had a checkup and fillings, was made to feel relaxed and was very pleased with the outcome. Highly recommended if you want a relaxing, professional service which cares.

I cannot recommend St Mawes Dental enough. I have recently had 2 difficult tooth extractions and Nina has done an incredible job. She is an extremely kind and caring dentist and the after care I have received has been beyond five star. Nina explains everything and instantly puts your mind at rest. Thank you Nina !

I had the pleasure of working alongside Nina today as an agency nurse with Elevate. I can honestly say it was the best day In surgery I've had in a long time. Nina was so helpful, wonderful with all her patients and nothing was too much. All Nina's patients are so lovely and really welcoming to her nurses. I cannot wait to come back for another day. Unbelievable service! A very kind, professional dentist . Explained every step beforehand, it made a massive difference! . The girls today saved me! Ive broken my back, had 2 kids and stepped on lego but none of that matched the dental pain i was suffering. Their emergency treatment was fast, efficent and cheap! I was totally terrified but they were so warm, friendly and reassuring and i left pain free. Sorry for nearly breaking your hand but thank you for removing my tooth.Made the journey from St Austell to St Mawes worth while. XxxxX

A few months back I went here for an emergency dentist appointment. The staff was very friendly and kept the place very clean! I was getting an infected tooth removed and the dentist doing this was very understanding and also explained everything that was going to happen. She understood my anxiety and helped me deal with it. She also made sure that I would be comfortable during the entire thing! So thank you for everything and I reccomend that you book here!

I just came out of my appointment. This dentist is amazing. The staff were so happy to help, and they made me feel comfortable and relaxed.I was sent here on an emergency NHS appointment. Thank you so much!!!!!!I had to book an emergancy appointment due to having some agonising tooth pain. St Mawes got me in next day. I am a very anxious patient after having a recent tooth extraction cause intense pain. However I didn't feel a thing at St Mawes, I even laughed when it came out because I couldn't believe how much I had worked myself up about it. The team were excellent, friendly, informative and quick. 10/10 on all counts.This experience has completely numbed my anxeity towards dental work. If you have an appointment here, you are in excellent hands.

Absolutely fantastic and friendly service. Always been a big baby when going to dental appointments but from the moment I arrived to my emergency appointment today I was made to feel at ease despite having a tooth removed. Gutted they're not taking on NHS patients yet. Thank you.

OMG !! What an ease I felt going into that positive and very humours atmosphere. Almost completely distracted from the tooth they were currently ripping from my jaw at the time.
